Sam teaches pupils of all ages both privately and in schools. Lessons are completely tailored to the individual's needs and can be on drum kit or tuned/orchestral percussion.

 

Private Lessons

 

I have a very well equipped teaching room in the Heavitree area of Exeter, featuring both Electric and Acoustic Drum Kits, Full PA system and a Majestic Xylophone.

 

Teaching in Schools 

 

Sam has been teaching drum kit and orchestral percussion in schools since graduating in 2011. He is the percussion tutor for the Devon Youth Wind Orchestra, and has also tutored the percussion section for the Devon County Youth Orchestra in recent years. Sam teaches drum kit and runs the percussion ensemble at the Centre for Youth Music in Taunton which takes place on Saturday mornings at Richard Huish School.
